Finishing Orientation 08/29/2009

I can’t begin to recap all of the many adventures I had during orientation except to say that I made a lot of really amazing friends, there were a couple of trips to the Norae-Bang (Karaoke rooms), strictly preceded by a few drinks including the amazing flavored soju, and many good times. The closing ceremonies were amazing. They invited this drumming group and this dancing group and I was endlessly impressed and entertained. The drummers were so mind-blowing! At some points they were so into their performance it seemed like they were meditating. I hated saying good bye to everyone and I wish we could all just be together in one city, but no dice. It seems there is some traveling in order…
